Ben Crump Pledges $50K to the Black Press, Challenges Others to Follow His Lead

During the event, attorney Ben Crump emphasized the critical importance of the Black Press as a trusted voice for African Americans in the face of what he described as attacks on Black history, culture, and media. Crump pledged $50,000 to support the Black Press, structured as $10,000 annually for five years, while encouraging others to contribute as the organization approaches its bicentennial.
